RSVP for Solstice Dinner and Much More!

TL,DR: RSVP to break bread with us for the solstice @ bit.ly/rzh-solstice-23
🌞🌝

Thank you so much for supporting us through our first full year open! Y'all really showed up and remind us every day that sustaining movement infrastructure is work worth doing.

To show our gratitude and build community, we'd like to invite you all to a paprikash dinner on Thursday, 12/21 at 6:30pm. We'll reflect on where we've been in the past year and where we're hoping to go in the next. We'll share a little about financial transparency and give some run down summaries of event numbers. We'll also have a sweet ritual for the winter solstice and social hour (and bonfire?) afterward.

Please RSVP at bit.ly/rzh-solstice-23 by December 18 so we can plan to make enough food!

The Menu is:
🌝 Chicken Paprikash (meaty) or Mushroom Paprikash (vegan), with parsley and vegan or dairy sour cream.
🌝 Glutinous Spaetzle noodles (contain egg) or Vegan, Gluten Free Couscous.
🌝 Lemon Pepper + Chickpea Salad, vegan, with optional cheese.
🌝 Glutenous Bread, with vegan or dairy butter.
Please reach out if you have any additional dietary needs that we should know about in preparation for this event. Menu subject to change based on availability of ingredients.

For transparency, we’re anticipating the food to cost us about $7.20/person if 50 people show up. So if you haven’t donated to the space this year and you feel so moved to throw in a few bucks to help offset costs, we’ll have a bucket available to the side, no pressure and no questions asked. That said, this is a dinner served in gratitude and as always no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

So excited to see you all there to welcome the dark and mark a transition in seasonality <3

Supporting a Friend through an Abortion: Skill-share, Practice and Discussion:

Issue 1 passed! So what's next for Ohioans? Join us for an afternoon of training, workshop and skill-share around supporting ourselves, our friends and our communities through pregnancy and abortion experiences.

Facilitated by two community members with backgrounds as abortion doulas and clinic employees, we'll trace some history of abortion as direct action, discuss what to expect at a clinic talk about what the future looks like and practice support skills grounded in empathy and agency to support a friend thinking about or choosing abortion.

~ Bring a friend, bring your questions bring an open heart! So excited to see y'all there. ~ Saturday Dec 16th 11am - 2:30pm.

Lunch Provided, with vegan, gluten free and allergen sensitive options. If you have any dietary needs, don't hesitate to reach out to us ahead of time so we can make sure to accommodate. Childcare available on request. Please DM us ahead of time so that we can make sure to have the childcare area set up.
