It’s that time of year to get rowdy for abolition!

Join Rhizome House and friends TOMORROW, 12/31, from 7-8:30pm in front of the (In)justice center at Lakeside and W 3rd (just off the Shoreway) to make noise for those behind bars.

Help us send love and spread rebellious joy to folks inside, and let them know we won’t forget about them in the coming year. Bring anything to make noise, like pots, instruments and especially your friends!

In 1905, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) was formed on this basis:

The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life.

Between these two classes a struggle must go on until the workers of the world organise as a class, take possession of the means of production, abolish the wage system, and live in harmony with the earth.

Announcing a new series at RZH! In the coming year, we'll be hosting comprehensive youth-centered sex ed nights, in an affirming environment at a developmentally appropriate level. 🌸🪩🌌 Presented in collaboration with some exceptionally talented youth autonomy focused, pleasure centered, culturally competent and queer affirming local sex educators! We're so thrilled to welcome teens into our space and share the joy of radical potential with them.
